Anyone can Google “brunch near me” and find some eggs and bacon near the beach in this area, but what if you want the local’s experience? We’re talking outdoor seating and a menu that produces Instagram-worthy photo opportunities.  Well look no further – we’ve got you covered! Take a look at our top 3 picks for brunch in our area for the upcoming season!

Playa at Sportsman Marina

This place has not been opened very long but their social media fame and amazing views from the deck has people talking! The good news? It is off the beaten path, so you really have to be searching to find it (and we’re okay with that).

The daily menu includes everything from protein bowls to burgers/sandwiches and a wide-variety of appetizers.  It is a great spot to try a “tapas style” and order a few plates, just to get a taste of everything.  But we’re here to tell you about brunch! The best Mahi tacos you’ve ever tasted along with other options like crab cake benedict, French toast, amazing avocado toast for a lighter fare or your choice of classic breakfast favorites.  The view from the deck is one of the best in the area and, if preferred, dock your boat directly outside at the marina.  Sip your Mimosa or Bloody Mary on a breezy Saturday morning while you take in the views from one of the fastest growing beach towns on the coast!

GT’s On The Bay

If you’re a fan of sampling a little bit of everything, this is the place for you.  Sunday Brunch includes everything from fresh salads and an egg station to their baked fish selections and sliced pork loin.  They also have a great assortment of veggies for the vegetarians. Their spacious dining room extends to the outside deck where you can take the family for live music and great views.  There is also a large fish pond in the center dining room!  GTs is definitely a must see and offers nothing short of good times.  Another perk? They are pet friendly on the deck and your furry friends will love the sunshine.

Nick’s Boathouse

Bottomless mimosas and their brunch menu are available on both Saturdays and Sundays at this Pensacola favorite! Whether you prefer a lump crab omelet, French toast or something classic like chicken and waffles, they’ve got you covered.  Try the brunch burger! This is an Angus burger sandwiched between a fried egg, pepper jack cheese, bacon and a fried green tomato.  You will not be disappointed!

There are so many choices for the foodies in this area but if you’re looking for outdoor seating, an amazing brunch menu and boat access – try one (or all) of these local restaurants.  All three businesses are also very good about giving back to their community in different ways throughout the year and we definitely appreciate it.
