As a local girl who loves everything about our beautiful Perdido Key, I'm thrilled to share some fantastic news with you all. On June 7, 2024, we hit a major milestone that will undoubtedly enhance our little slice of paradise—the completion of the Perdido Key Multi-Use Path!

Picture this: a gorgeous six-mile stretch where you can ride your bike, jog, or take a leisurely walk, all while being completely separated from the traffic on Perdido Key Drive. This amazing path runs from the Theo Baars Bridge all the way to the Alabama border, creating a safe and scenic route for both residents and visitors.

A Journey Through Nature and Community

This newly completed path isn't just about exercise; it's about experiencing the natural beauty and vibrant community of Perdido Key. The final segment, laid down just last week at the west end of Perdido Key State Park, connects the previously constructed east portion with the west segment completed over two years ago. Now, you can seamlessly traverse the entire length of Perdido Key, taking in breathtaking views and fresh coastal air.

But the perks don't stop there! The path also connects with the River Road and Johnson Beach Road paths, expanding your adventure options even further. Whether you're a cyclist eager to explore new routes or someone who enjoys peaceful walks, this multi-use path offers something for everyone.
