July 4th Celebrations In and Around Perdido Key

Whether you’re visiting for summer vacation or you are a local, there is never a shortage of activities in this area but that is especially true for July 4th celebrations! We’ve listed out some of the top activities going on in the area for Independence Day for any age group.  Be sure to follow us on Facebook (Kathy Justice, Perdido Girl) and tell us what your plans are this summer!

Flora-Bama All American BBQ Party

The annual BBQ Party will be complete with live music both upstairs and downstairs at Flora-Bama as well as plenty of spirits and beach activities. The event kicks off July 4th morning and will continue throughout the night.

Perdido Beach Resort Independence Day Celebration

This event kicks off on July 4th and lasts for 3 full days complete with live bands, full fireworks show on the beach, poolside balloon artists, a poolside movie in the evenings, watermelon eating contest and a crab hunt for the kiddos!  Admission is $35 for all 3 days.

Main Street at The Wharf

The Independence Day Street Party will be held on July 3, 2019. There will be DJ entertainment, kid-friendly activities, prize giveaways and much more. The iconic palm trees located on Main Street will sparkle with red, white and blue lights throughout the day and night! Be sure to stick around for the firework show after the sun sets. Admission is free with face painting for $5-10 and a trampoline jumpee for $5.

Downtown OWA

Family friendly activities, live entertainment throughout the property and a great fireworks show starting at 8:45pm. The party will last all day so get there early to enjoy free admission in the streets, grab a delicious lunch at one of the restaurants at OWA and then enjoy fireworks later in the evening.

Downtown Pensacola

 The largest fireworks display on the Gulf Coast takes place over Pensacola Bay at 9:00PM after a full day of activities throughout downtown and Pensacola Beach! Seville Square will be full of free children’s play activities with inflatables, pony rides, rock climbing wall, and character meet & greets with face painting.  There will be plenty of live music and spirits throughout downtown all day and night!
