     There are several main waterways accessible by boat that lead to the Gulf of Mexico through the major harbor entrance of Perdido Pass in Orange Beach or the harbor entrance of Pensacola Pass. These waterways include Old River, Intracoastal Waterway (ICW), Perdido Bay, Pensacola Bay, Escambia Bay, Perdido River, Styx River, and numerous boat-able canals. One of the many perks of Florida living has always been the fact that no matter the time of year, you are able to get outside and soak up the sun. Whether its early morning in the middle of August or late afternoon in February, you can find activities outdoors to keep yourself active.

In our small town of Perdido, you might think the choices are limited for daily exercise or adventure. Although we may not have the massive gyms found in bigger cities, you won’t hear us complain. Between the walking/running trails, kayak/bike rentals and breathtaking sunset sailing trips available in the area, you simply have no excuse to stay inside on the couch.
