Sunset Grille

A favorite in Perdido Key is Sunset Grille because of the low-key environment and beautiful views and the fact it is accessible by car or boat.  You and your pooch can sit outside on the deck and they’ll usually provide dogs with their own water bowl!

Perdido Key Dog Beach

The Perdido Key Dog Park located at 14484 River Road is a quaint little dog beach hidden behind Lost Key Golf Club.  The enclosed park backs up to Old River in Perdido Key and provides access for the dogs to swim and play with no leash required! The park also features a covered pavilion area for you to take shade during the sunny afternoons.

Bill Dickerson Dog Park

At 3151 Fenceline Road, the Bill Dickerson Dog Park is wooded for plenty of shade and features picnic tables under a gazebo for a quick snack or a nice relaxing break while you dog plays.

Big Lagoon State Park

Did you know Big Lagoon State Park is dog-friendly? Whether you are spending the weekend camping or you are visiting for a quick jog in the park, bring your dog along! They do require your dog be on a leash at Big Lagoon but there is plenty of space to run and swim for you and your furry friends!

Pirates Cove

Also accessible by both car and boat, Pirates Cove is known for their cheeseburgers, bushwackers and dog-friendly beaches. They actually have 4 dogs that practically live there because they get so much attention from customers! On any given Saturday you can find dogs of every size, shape and age jumping and playing in the water and walking around the deck.  The laid back atmosphere is perfect for a day in the sun with your favorite furry friends. Your dog(s) is guaranteed to go home tired and happy after an adventure at Pirates Cove!

Flora-Bama Yacht Club

White sandy beaches, beach chairs with umbrellas and picnic tables in the sun – this is a favorite by locals, tourists and yes, Fido! Your dog can run and play in the water or find a shady cabana to relax while you sip on your favorite beach cocktail.  There is no membership required to visit the yacht club but if you ARE a member, you get great discounts, so be sure to ask your server for details when you visit.

Flippers

Located directly on Arnica Bay at Bear Point Marina with one of the best views of the summer sunsets is Flippers Seafood! The outdoor deck has plenty of seating and welcomes your dog friends any time of day.  You and your furry friends will enjoy the evening breeze, live music and open air cabana bar.  

Gulf State Park

The Dog Park at Gulf State Park includes agility/play equipment for your dog and they recently made several improvements in 2018! A few things to keep in mind about this location is the wildlife (including alligators), your dog must be leashed and they ask that your dog be current on all vaccinations and wear an owner I.D. tag to the park.  This is a great location to take your furry friends for exercise and sunshine.  If you are a runner, consider taking your dog on a quick jog through the dog park in the morning, the breeze is so nice first thing in the morning!

Unleashed Dog Park in Orange Beach

Open from sunrise to sunset, this dog park is located behind Sportsman Marina in Orange Beach (a quick drive from Perdido Key) and your dog can have the freedom to run and play without a leash! There are plenty of benches to sit in the shade while your fur buddies make new friends.  The rules are similar here as at Gulf State Park – dogs should be current on vaccinations and should wear an owner I.D. tag at all times. 

Pensacola Dog Beach West

A local favorite is Pensacola’s Dog Beach West! Your dog can run on the beach, dig in the sand or lay under a shady umbrella with you.  The water here is beautiful and everyone on the beach is a dog-lover, so you and your canine adventure buddy are sure to make new friends during your visit.
