Songwriter Series at the Point – This monthly event at The Point Restaurant in Perdido Key showcases six songwriting artists each session: three locals and three regional or national touring songwriters with a Nashville hit songwriter featured quarterly. This is a free event and takes place the third Tuesday of each month beginning at 5 pm.

Playa at Sportsman Marina

This place has not been opened very long but their social media fame and amazing views from the deck has people talking! The good news? It is off the beaten path, so you really have to be searching to find it (and we’re okay with that). 

The daily menu includes everything from protein bowls to burgers/sandwiches and a wide-variety of appetizers.  It is a great spot

Sunset Grille

A favorite in Perdido Key is Sunset Grille because of the low-key environment and beautiful views and the fact it is accessible by car or boat.  You and your pooch can sit outside on the deck and they’ll usually provide dogs with their own water bowl!

Perdido Key Dog Beach

The Perdido Key Dog Park located at 14484 River Road is a quaint little dog beach hidden behind Lost Key Golf Club.  The enclosed park backs up to Old River in Perdido Key and provides access for the dogs to swim and play with no leash required! The park also features a covered pavilion area for you to take shade during the sunny afternoons.

[Did You Know?] The History of the Blue Angels If you haven’t been living under a rock the last 73 years, you have heard of The Blue Angels but do you know the history behind this impressive flying team? The Blue Angels is the United States Navy’s flight demonstration squadron which was initially formed in 1946, making it the second oldest formal flying aerobatic team (under the same name) in the world! The Blue Angels are currently flown by five Navy demonstration pilots and one Marine Corps demonstration pilot. At the end of World War II, Chief of Naval Operations, Adm. Chester W. One of the many perks of Florida living has always been the fact that no matter the time of year, you are able to get outside and soak up the sun. Whether its early morning in the middle of August or late afternoon in February, you can find activities outdoors to keep yourself active.

In our small town of Perdido, you might think the choices are limited for daily exercise or adventure. Although we may not have the massive gyms found in bigger cities, you won’t hear us complain. Between the walking/running trails, kayak/bike rentals and breathtaking sunset sailing trips available in the area, you simply have no excuse to stay inside on the couch.
